ICIN 2007
ICIN 2007 is seeking papers on a wide range of topics related to theme "Emerging Web and Telecom Services : Collision or Coopetition?" and we are seeking high quality, innovative papers on Web, IMS, and content services, architecture, and technology. Therefore we welcome proposals for papers concerning in the interplay of intelligence in end-user devices, residential gateways, enterprise systems, access network, core network signalling and control, as well as applications, service architectures, and business models which build on this interplay.

We are interested in submissions that deal with the impact of cooperation and competition of players of the Internet and Telecoms worlds. We may face new services ideas that rely on the best of these two worlds. On the other hand, some Internet services may only require Quality of Service and Security from the Telecom operator in his role as a bit pipe provider.

Prospective presenters are invited to submit extended abstracts addressing one or more of the following topics :

Oral Presentations

Presentations are grouped into sessions, each chaired by a member of the Technical Programme Committee. Session chairs will provide coaching and guidance to presenters to encure a stimulating session in which both key points of agreement and contrasting perpectives are highlighted. During the conference, one or more outstanding papers will be selected and recognized.

Posters Presentations

ICIN2007 Conference will feature Poster Presentations during the three day event. Poster Presentations make it possible for a number of important developments in the field of Information and Communications Technology to be presented. Poster Presentations are strategically located in the networking and coffee break area.

Registration terms and conditions applicable to authors will be the same as for oral presentations.

Tutorials & Workshops

Four half day tutorials and workshops on Monday 8 October 2007 will introduce delegates to key technical subjects. Tutorials are given by leaidng experts in their fields. Previous tutorial themes included "IMS Basics, Application Server Options & Multimedia Applications", "Network Security", "Peer to Peer Networking : Architectures , Protocols & Applications", "Open Mobile Services", "Multi modal Communication Service Networks - From Business case to deployment", "IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)", "Understanding the 3GPP OSA/Parlay APIs- Classic API, Parlay Web Services & Parlay X". New feature in ICIN2006, a workshop on "Migration to NGN/IMS" brought together operators with the objective of addressing and discussing critical issues raised by this topic.
