Any aspects of toxic or essential trace elements in food will be discussed on the 3 days conference in addition of some traditional Scottish Social Events.
The objective of this interdisciplinary symposium is to gather experts with different backgrounds to discuss all aspects of trace elements in relation to food, with special emphasis on biological effects of elements.

Topics of particular interest include:
* Sources and transfer of trace elements into the food and feed
* Analytical advances in trace elements in food
* Trace elements in nutrition and human health
* Toxicology and risk assessment
* Other
